RESULTS OF 34TH WEEK. Results of the Taranaki egg laying competition for the 34th week are.

MANAIA CHURCH BAZAAR. ' /■ ~~ S I ‘ IpNDRED POUNDS REALISED. St. ■ Cuthbert’s ■ Anglican . Church, Manaia, held, the annual bazaar 011 Tuesday and the effort proved highly successful. The net proceeds will amount to • over' £lOO. On the past' two occasionf. a carnival has: been held in conjunction with the bazaar and this made previous receipts greater. To be able to attain- over £lOO with a one-day appeal is most gratifying to the promotThe evening programme consisted of selections by -Mr. H. E. Lloyd’s orchestra and a comedy farce entitled “Mhos Who, or All in a Fog.” In the farce interest was sustained until the curtain and the audience was delighted with the ability of the performers. Those taking part were:—Mr. M. Walker (Blopmfield Brambleton), Mr. C. W. Abbott (Simonite Swanhopper), Mr. B.
