PACIFIC SCIENCE CONGRESS

A NEW ZEALAND SUGGESTION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. -Wellington, Last Night. At a meeting, of the Polynesian Society it was agreed, on the suggestion of Bishop WiUiams, that a Pau-Pacific Conference of persons and societies interested in ethnology, anthropology and philology be held in New Zealand. The countries to be represented would be New Zealand, Australia, Japan, the United States, Canada and various countlies in South America, The object of the conference is to discuss matters which are at present dealt with in a number of journals. The initial steps vdll shortly be taken.
