THE WENDY HUT

< TINKER BELL TALKS. ABOUT ANOTHER COMPETITION My dears, , ' This is a very “rush-and-seramble”-kind of letter, because Wendy has only just asked me to write it, and in a few minutes Mr. Editor will want the “Wendy Hut Corner” for the newspaper. You see, it’s like this: we had so many letters about last month’s painting competition, from children, fathers, mothers, big brothers and sisters, and teachers, all saying how tremendously interesting it was, that we feel kind of bound to have - another one straight away. In fact, we were specially asked to make the “very next competition a painting one, please!” And so, being quite nice, obliging folk, we have decided that a painting contest it shall be. ./’.I know every one will be pleased, and try very hard, especially when Wendy tells you next week what the prizes for the best efforts are to be! Wonderful prizes they are, ■children! And if only Wendy would let Billikins and me enter, I think we would try harder than ’most anyone else to win one each! Till next week, then! And be sure to clean up your paintbrushes and see that your colours are nicely in order. Because you’ve got to work HARD with them! Love to You, TINK.
