GULDEN WEST SHELTERING. A radiogram. received by Newton King, Ltd., from the O. and O. Line steamer Golden West yesterday stated that the vessel was sheltering owing to the gale and would not arrive at New Plymouth until early this morning. The vessel is “light ship” and the westerly gale will make the trip difficult. The vessel will bring 850 tons of Pacific Slope cargo. The Golden West is from Nelson, and to-morrow will proceed to Gisborne. BARRDALE LEAVING TO-MORROW. The Barrdale, which has been unloading phosphates at New Plymouth, is to leave .New Plymouth to-morrow for Westport to bunker. ■ 2 BORGESTAD ON SUNDAY. Newton King, Ltd., advise that the itinerary of the Norwegian motor-ship has been changed and the vessel will now arrive at New Plymouth on. Sunday morning to discharge 1650 tons of sulphur from Galveston, Texas. She was due to leave Auckland yesterday afternoon. MAHIA TO-MORROW. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that the Mahia left Sydney at 2 p.m. on Tuesday for New Plymouth, where she is due to-morrow to commence her Homeward loading. She is to leave again next Tuesday for Wanganui, Wellington, Napier and Auckland to complete. She is due at Wellington on November 27 and is scheduled to clear Auckland on December 10 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. The vessel carries dairy produce from New Plymouth. HERTFORD SAILS. Loaded to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Hertford was dispatched from Auckland on Wednesday night for London, via the Panama Canal. NEW UNION STEAMER. The Kini, which was being built for the Lamb Company when the company was bought out by the Union Company last March, was launched on November 6 by John Lewis and Co., Aberdeen. She is expected to leave Gre’at Britain early in December for Wellington, via the-Panama Canal. The Kini'has a deadweight carrying capacity of about 1800 tons and has been specially designed for the carriage of long timber poles on a light draught, and will probably be engaged in the intercolonial timber trade.
