MAGISTRATE’S COURT
ORDERS FOR PAYMENT. •A number of civil claims were heard before Mr. R. W. late, S.M., in the New Plymouth Court yesterday. Judgment for plaintiffs by default was given in the following undefended civil claims: —H. A. Clayton v. Vernon Smith, £2 (costs £1 6s 6d); Levin i nd Co., Ltd., v. G. E. Clout, £l5O 16s 3d (£7 18S) - K K On a judgment summons brought by J. W. Pickering, E. J. Quinlan was ordered to pay £6 16s 4d and costs 15s 6d in monthly instalments of £l, -n default seven days’ imprisonment. D. Byrne was ordered to pay J. W. Pickering £5 9s Sd (costs 15s 6d) forthwith, in default six days’ imprisonment.
