TOUR BY BRITISH PRINCES
SOUTH AFRICAN ITINERARY . EXTENSIVE TRAVELLING IN 1931. TRIP ALMOST ROUND CONTINENT. British Official Wireless. Rec. 5.5 p.m. Rugby, Nov. 19. Prince George will accompany the Prince of Wales on his South American four. The Princes will probably join the liner Oropesa, which leaves Liverpool on January 15, at Santander or Vigo. They may spend two or three days sightseeing in Spain before boarding the vessel, which is due at Bermuda on January 27, dt Havana on January ' 31, at Kingston (Jamaica) /On February 3, at Panama Canal on February 5, at Talara (Peru), where the Princes’ party will visit the oilfields, on February 8. and at Callao on February 10. 1 The Princes hope to spend two or three days at Lima. Later they will visit Cuzco (Peru) and La Paz (Bolivia) on the .way south to Chile. The Princes will reach Santiago (Chile) probably on February 21. There they will spend a few days before leaving for southern Chile. They will enter Argentina by Lake Nahuel Huapi. After travelling through the Andes to the railhead. at Bariloche the Princes will go by train to Port San Antonio and it is hoped by British aeroplanes to Buenos Aires 500 miles away, arriving about March 5. The party will sail from Buenos Aires on March 21, the motor vessel Alcantara probably making a stay at Brazil on the homeward journey.
