EASTBOURNE FERRY BOAT
AUCKLAND BUYER’S VENTURE.

Wellington, Last Night.After more than 30 years* service in the harbour ferry run the steamer Duchess, which has now been laid up about IS ’months, has been sold by the Eastbourne Borough Council to an Auckland buyer. The Duchess will be towed to Auckland about the end of next week ar.d will take up the running between Auckland and Kawau Island.
