Beech, Hunter Road, gave, a most enjoyable party at their residence last Friday evening in honour of their daughter Gladys’ 21st birthday. The evening was spent in games and various competitions. Supper was served and Miss Beech cut the cake, which was beautifully decorated with 21 candles. Among those present were Mesdames Beech, Scown and Roberts, the Misses Gladys, Vera, Phyllis and 1 Edith Beech, M. Startup, N. Gadsby, M. I Kelly and Joan, Doris and Rita Nicholas. > -
