BURIAL OF R101 VICTIMS.—There were impressive scenes at the funeral of the victims of the disaster to R101, when thousands of people witnessed the laving to rest of the bodies in the little graveyard at Cardington on October 11. They rest practically within sight of the hangars and mooring mast from which they set out a week previously. The photograph shows the service being conducted after the coffins had been placed in the grave, clergy of various denominations taking part.
