COMMONS AWAITS THE REPORT. CONTRAST IN PREFERENCES. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Nov. 17. Mr. Ramsay MacDonald in the House of Commons said that the debate on the Imperial Conference would be best deferred until the report, thereon was tabled. Mr. G. M. Gillett (Labour) -said the figures for 1929 showed that Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Ireland gave British goods tariff preferences representing £15,000,000. Britain during the same period gave the Dominions preferences of £3,500,000.
