THE ENGINES TO BE REPLACED ELIMINATION OF RESISTANCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Nov. 17- , It is understood that the German flying boat Do. X’s Atlantic British engines have Been fitted. Dr. Dornier, while in England last week, arranged for the supply of eight 900 h.p. Rolls-Royce engines to replace the 12 600 horse-power engines at present installed. He calculated that the removing of two pairs of tandem engines will give .an increased performance 'Owing to the lessened resistance.
