GOODS STOLEN AT PAHIATUA
BURGLARS COMMANDEER LORRY POLICE MAKE THREE ARRESTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Three mon Were arrested in the city to-day bj’ detectives in connection with a burglary at Pahiatua, where the premises of the Wairarapa FArmere’ Cooperative Association were broken into on Thursday night last and some hundreds of pounds worth of goods were removed. The means by which the thieves gained access is not known, but they ransacked the emporium and finally drove off with their loot in one of the firm’s motor-lorries.
Some of the stolen goods have been recovered.
