Forbes and members of the New Zealand delegation to the Imperial Conference sail ! , on their return by the Ormonde on De-f cember 6. Mr. Forbes, accompanied by Mr. For* syth, visited the Smithfield, market,;.where they were welcomed by Mr. Conoily, chairman of the Markets Committee, and numerous salesmen. Mr. Con* oily paid a high tribute to the quality of New Zealand meat. Mr- Forbes said that he was gratified to learn at first hand that New Zei»land produce was so good, and hoped that the increasing supplies would meet, %lE £: the same satisfied market. Much of . the success was due to the Dominion’®, representation, notably the goodwill Mr. Forsyth had established. Mr. G. W.
