BROADCASTING STATION SAVED. PALMERSTON NORTH SCHEME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Palmerston North, Last Night. Owing to the embargo forbidding dealers lending records to broadcasting stations the Manawatu Radio Club made an appeal on Sunday night to listeners for the loan of records. As a result 2663 were offered, as well as nearly 100 player-piano rolls, within 24 hours. The' fear that the station would have to cease broadcasting thus vanished.
