FIRE SWEEPS MAIN STREET
LOSSES IN QUEENSLAND TOWN. MOTOR-CARS AND SHOPS BLAZE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec. 10.15 p.m., Brisbane, Nov. 17. Fire swept the main street of Goomeri today. Seven shops, five motor-cars, five oil engines and several motor-cycles were destroyed. The damage is estimated at many thousands of pounds.
