WELLINGTON MAN’S DEATH
PROMINENT TENNIS PLAYER. By Telegraph.— Press Association. "■ Wellington, Last Night. Mr. H. M. Gore, who died this inori. ing, was a prominent tennis player. Hrepresented New Zealand in the fir?t team sent from the Dominion to Sydney in 1806. He also captained the Kew Zealand team a few years later. This team beat New South Wales by 18 sets to 10. Mr. Gore also represented Wellington in interprovincial games and was a competitor in the national championships at the time when F. M. B. Fisher and J. C. Peacock wC 1-e engaged.
