DEATH OF MRS l. PAULGER

AN OLD INGLEWOOD RESIDENT. The death occurred at Inglewood on Friday of Mrs. Isaac Paulger, aged, 88, an old and well-known resident of the district. Mrs. Paulger, her husband and three children arrived at New Plymouth in 1875 by the sailing vessel- Chile, and in September of that year journeyed by bullock dray to Inglewood. For a short time the family returned to New Plymouth and lived on the Carrington Hoad, but they returned to Inglewood and lived on the Lincoln Road, where they took up one of the first farms. The family remained there for 32 years and about 18 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Paulger retired and lived at Inglewood. The Paulgers were among the first suppliers of the Moa Dairy Company. On May 15, 1928, Mr. and Mrs. Paulger celebrated their diamond wedding. Airs. Paulger is ■ survived by her husband, Mr. Isaac Paulger, aged 93, and of a family of eight seven are still living. They are Air. J. W. Paulger (Inglewood), Mrs. Bowen (Island Bay, Wellington), Mr. D. W. wood), Miss A. Paulger (Inglewood), Mrs. A. Schultz (Inglewood), Mr. J. H. Paulger (Tikorangi), and Mr. Albert Paulger (Raetihi). The interment took place at Inglewood on Sundav. 1
