SUCCESSFUL INAUGURATION. / By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 6. The De.Havilland four-seater plane inaugurating the tri-weekly passengei seivice from Christchurch to Dunedin leached the Taieri aerodrome at 12.0 p.ni., after a flight of 2hr. 35min. There was dirty weather between Christchurch and Ashburton, but then there were splendid conditions. Squadron-Leader McGregor stated that the route was ideal for service- on account of the plentitude of suitable landing places. The. passengers were Mr. T. L. Hathaway (Auckland) and two pressmen. ' • ' The plane returns to Christchurch this afternoon.
