A boy attempting to hoist the Nationalist flag above, the Legislative Council was arrested and the: flag confiscated. The police surrounded a house a mile outside Lahore. Three men ran out firing revolvers. The police retaliated, killing one and injuring another. The man killed has been identified as a student suspected of being concerned in the attempt to, wreck the Viceroy’s' train last year. The police commissioner at Karachi and two sub-inspectors have been warned to leave'the city within a week; otherwise they will be killed by bombs.
