A slight accident occurred last week on the factory road when two lorries, ope ownpd by Mr. Roebuck and the other by Mr. Bredin, collided. Mr. Roebuck’s lorry jiad an axle broken and the chassis of the other wap bent. Unfortunately for Mr. Fowles the accident took place opposite his gate, making it impossible for him to drive his egr out that evening.
It is understood the Gleproy tea gardens are to be opened to the public in the near future.
The patronage given to the tennis and bowling ejubs during the wek-ends speaks well' for a successful season.
