Herr Curtius at a private meeting of the Reichstag Foreign Affairs Committee confirmed the reports that Germany had recently sounded Washington in reference to war debts and’ reparations. It is understood that he said Wall Street was interested in the subject but not the administration, hence Germany has no need of a reparations moratorium at present.
