FAIR WEATHER FOR WEEK-END.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be changeable with showers at times in most districts, but it will improve to-morrow. Temperatures will be cool. Present indications aie for fair weather during the week-end. The depression mentioned yesterday has been crossing the Dominion to-day and barometers are commencing to rise again with the movement of a moderate anticyclone on to the north lasman Sea. There will be strong northerly winds to gales from Cook Strait iiorthwaids and elsewhere' fresh to strong southerlies. Southerlies will gradually become general. Sc.as will be rough north of Farewell Spit and south of Castle Point and moderate elsewhere.
