[POSITION IN NEW PLYMOUTH.
The annual report of the Equitable Bunding Society of New Plymouth states that ih Group 3 loans amounting to £2202 10s were made during . 3 year, increasing the total of loans on mortgage to £26,484 2s, and £1149 J9s was paid to shareholders desiring to Withdraw their subscriptions. The balance due on mortgage securities is £13,477 6s 2d. The undivided, profits are £3203 14s 3d. The number of shares operating in this group is 294, of which 87 are appropriated and 207 entitled to take part in ballots and sales. Loans to the value of £ll5O were advanced from Group 4, increasing the total of loans on mortgage to £13,47'3 8s Bd. The balance due oh mortgage securities is £8637 17s Id. The sum of £925 10s was paid to shareholders in respect of withdrawals of subscriptions. The undivided profits in the group are £1268 2s sd. The number of shares operating is 301, of which 48 are appropriated and 253 remain entitled to participate in ballots and sales.
