Wangapui, October 21. /At the Wanganui, Jockey Club’s spring meeting the club, made a loss of £975, whereas Government taxes absorbed £3776. The general committee yesterday decided that drastic reductions, would have to be made in the stakes for the autumn meeting in February. The programme drawn up shows stakes of £3O- - compared with £5025 for the 1930 autumn meeting, a decrease of £1995. There will be no Wanganui Cup, which has figured on the programme for 50 years,
