MAN’S FAILURE TO ACCOUNT
TWELVE MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. 18. Atholl Courtenay Forbes, aged 37, formerly Wellington representative for Toledo, Birdel and Company in Wellington was sent to prison for twelve months by the magistrate to-day for failure to account for a total of £lB3 Bs. After making good over a period of seven years it was stated for Forbes that he had taken to drink and gambling and reverted to • theft.
