The Clifton Park Society, which depends on public subscription for maintaining and beautifying the reserve held' a “bring and buy” afternoon on'Thursday and the function proved very successful, £7 being obtained. The follow-'< V# ing programme was provided: Pianoforte duets, Misses E. Ki'bby and G. Muschamp, Misses I. Foreman and G. Muschamp; pianoforte trio, Misses E. Kibby, G. Muschamp and I. Foreman; pianoforte solo, Mrs. H. M. Madsen; elocutionary items, Misses I. Foreman and G. Hansen. The Waitara Municipal Band dance in the Clifton Hall on Thursday was , f. well patronised and those present spent an enjoyable time in dancing to .music provided by Martin Bros. ’ ' ■ ' -i-. •?.' ;
