ASTRONOMERS ON NIUAFOU
ISLAND CONDITIONS PROMISING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Oct. TB. A special message to the Press.-Asso-. ciation by radio from Dr. C. E.' Adams, who is in charge of the New> Zealand eclipse expedition at Niuafoo, states that daily practice by the expedition , continues. Since the arrival of the party on the island the conditions at the-hour ft the day when the eclipse will occur have been fairly good. The American expedition is giving New Eealanders liberal assistance, which is much appre-’ ciated. There is a total of 25 tents in the camp. The Ventura passed on Friday afternoon to Pago Pago. All the members of the expedition are well.
