The final instrumental and vocal concert for the season will be given by the Regimental Band .in the Empire Theatre. New Plymouth, to-morrow evening at 815 p.m. The vocal numbers .will be supplied by Madame Veta Cornwall, Messrs. Francis Cornwall and Bert btowart, who are favourites With New Plymouth audiences. New premises covering over half an acre arc to be erected for Messrs. J. B Mac Ewan and Company, Ltd.,, on a property on the Great South Road, near Penrose. The building will include an extensive engineering workshop, a brass and iron foundry, offices ■ and show rooms. The building will be .of one storey and it will be constructed, of concrete, wood and iron. The engineering shops alone will accommodate over 100 men. It will be modern in every respect and dining facilities will -be provided for the employees. The work is expected to be completed in January.
