SCOTTISH CATTLE
TRANSFER TO TASMANIA. London, Oct. 8. The most prominent West of Scotland breeder of pedigree cattle will shortly transfer his entire stud, founded 700 years ago, to Tasmania, owing to the impossibility of making fanning pay on this side of the world. His Galloway cattle are among the finest beefers ’and thrive in second-elass country. A neighbouring breeder with 70.000 acres will follow if the first is successful.
