AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TOUR

NEW ZEALAND CHANCES SLUMP.

BIG INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMME.

By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, October 16. The chairman of the Cricket Board of Confjrol stated that the matter of a team visiting New Zealand will have to be submitted to the board, which does not meet before the end of December.

It is pointed out that as a West Indies team is visiting Australia this season the leading players will be required for the tests and State matches. The same thing applies next year When the South Africans pay Australia a visit and in the 1932-33 season the Englishmen will be in Australia again. It may be possible to send a second team this year, but it is unlikely that Bradman or other stars will be available. Nothing can be done, however, before the'board meets.
