NEW MINISTER FOR AIR .
AMULREE, AGED 70 YEARS British Wireless. Rugby, O<;t. 14. Lord Amulree, who has been appointed Secretary of State for Air, was formerly Sir William Mackenzie and was created a baron last year. He .is 70 years old and was called to the Bar m 1886, taking silk in 1914. From 1919 to 1926, he was president of the Industrial Court. He'has presided over numerous courts of inquiry and has acted m an arbitrator and conciliator in industrial differences for the Board of Trade and the Ministry of Labour.
