Judgment by default was given by Mr. R. W. ■ Tate, S.M., in the following undefended debt claims in New Plymouth yesterday: —0. Hoskin v.„ A. J. Barlow, £2 os (costs £1 4s 6d); J. H. H. Holm and Co. v. T. A. Buckley, £55 12s 6d( £4 Ils 6d); Darby and Hannan, Ltd., v. J. G. Williamson, £7 (£1 10s 6d); E. A. Walker and D. Blackley v. E. G. Falwasser, £5 18s 6d (£1 10s 6d); Taranaki Hospital Board v. Luke Hobman, £79 13s (£5); E. M. Livesey v. F. Williams, £37 (£4 Is 6d). Under a judgment summons W. T. Thomas was ordered to pay Robert Whale £4 18s 6d forthwith, in default four days’ imprisonment.
