GOVERNMENT PERTURBED FALL OF CABINET POSSIBLE DR. BRUENING’S PROBLEM By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Berlin, Oct. 14. The Metal Workers’ Union is calling out 140,000 men to-morrow rather than accept the arbitrators’ wage reduction of 8 per cent, for men over 18 years and 6 per cent, for men under 18 years. Three-quarters of the men voted in favour of the strike. The Government is perturbed and Statei, intervention is expected. A British United Press message states that the metal strike and the Economic Party’s withdrawal of the Minister of Justice, Herr Bredt, from the Ministry, which Herr Bredt is defying, has confronted Dr. Bruening with a crisis which might cause his instant fail. There is a widespread idea that President Hindenburg, in view of the instability of any Cabinet groupings, may appoint a Cabinet or directorate Consisting oT non-jpolitical experts.
