ENJOYABLE PLAY READING. I In aid of the Waitara branch of the Plunket Society a party from New Plymouth gave a reading of Noel Coward’s play, “I’ll Leave It To You,” in St. John’s Hall on Monday evening. There was an excellent, attendance and patrons were not disappointed, for the reading, excellently carried out, was thoroughly enjoyed. The funds will receive a welcome addition. It is hoped that a further reading will be given at an early date. The stage was prettily decorated and an excellent orchestra comprising Miss. R. Brough (piano), Mr. F; Locke arid Messrs. H. J. Wells and D. Mitchell (violihs), L. Sole (cornet), and H. West (flute), contributed tp the enjoyment, of the evening. On the motion of Archdeacon Gavin a vote of thapks was passed to the performers, after which supper' ' was. served. f. " ' .' . :

Miss Marie Webster; Griggs the Butler, Mr. E. A. George. The stage director was Airs. Sheat.
