Talented Wellington Girl.
Many people will be interested, to hear of-Miss Thelma Willoughby, a talented Wellington- pianiste, the holder of a Royal Academy Exhibition, who has been studying in London for. about fifteen months under Professor York Bowen. She recently ,had the honour of playing before Princess Marie Louise at the home of Mrs. Henry Konig in Buckinghamshire. . She played to the Princess for over an hour, and was presented with a beautiful evening bag, all coloured embroidery and creamy beads, and a silver top and handle with a chain.. They played cards later. Since, then Miss Willoughby has been asked to -play Beethoven’s “Emperor Concerto” with Sir Henry Wood’s Orchestra at Queen’s Hall.
