£900 SUBSIDY GRANTED
RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYMENT. WORK FOR NEW PLYMOUTH MEN. Advice that an additional £9O0 —a £2 for £1 subsidy—-had been granted the New -Plymouth Unemployment and Relief Committee was received from the Minister of Labour, the Hon. S. G. Smith, yesterday. The money -"'ill be used to employ 16 men on borough road works.
