SUSPENSION OF AWARDS
AUSTRALIAN RAILWAY’S CASE.' LODGMENT OF APPEAL DECIDED.
Melbourne, Oct. 7-
The general secretary of the Railways Union, Mr. Chapgie, announced that an appeal would be lodged with the High Court against the decision of the Arbitration Court setting aside the railway awards,' The Full' Court of the Arbitration Court has decided to hear in a fortnights time the applications by the Railway Commissioners of four States and other? for a variation of the basic wage.
