ANNUAL MEETING HELD. Mr. W. H. Armstrong presided at the annual meeting of the Inglewood tennis Club on Monday night, when there was an attendance of 16. The annual report showed that a successful season had been experienced. The number of members remained about the same as the previous year. Financially the club continued to progress. The debentures totalling £4O were repaid, and there was a small credit at the bainc with which to begin next season’s opera-

Kirk, W. 11. Armstrong, J. W. Pcttet, J. Ross, R. Ross, H. Major with tile president, vice-president aftd secretary ex officio; cub captain, Mr. I. P. Grant; senior match committee, Messrs. Armstrong, Grant and Cameron; junior match committee, Messrs. Kirk, Kohn and Pettet; delegates to association, Messrs. Cameron and Kohn. Subscriptions will remain the same as’ last season. Tho secretary was voted an honorarium of £3 3s. Tlio season will be officially opened on Labour Day, when a match arranged by the committee will take place. The borough council will be approachfed in regard to the damage done to the club’s fences during the cutting down of trees on the borough reserve.
