RE-OPENING OF GOLD MINE
NEW CAPITAL A CONDITION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. An extraordinary meeting of shareholders of the Mahakipawa Goldfields, Ltd., decided unanimously that the management continue with the re-open-ing of the mine, this being conditioned upon there being added capital of £5OOO subscribed upon an allotment of preference shares. The decision was reached after a report by Mr. K. M. Barrance on the mine workings had been discussed.
