SERVICE STATION ROBBED
GOODS WORTH £ll5 REMOVED. THIEVES WITH CAR AT PETONE By Association. Wellington, Last Night. Motor accessories to the value of about £lls' were stolen from the Pacific service station at the corner of Jackson and Cuba Streets, Petone, in the early hours of Sunday morning. The proprietor, A. E, Jessop, closed the premises about 11 p.m. on Saturday and when he reopened them at 6 a.in. on Sunday discovered the theft. The place had been entered through a back door. The thieves must have had a car to remove the goods for they included such heavy articles as tyres and batteries.
