PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council held *on Friday, the 3rd day of October, 1930, it wag resolved that in pursuance of its powers under ‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926,” “The Counties Act, 1920,” and any other Acte. it ■ enabling, and with the consent of at least three-fourths of the ratepayers of the Okau Special Rating District representing a majority in value of the said Rating Area, the Council authorises the raising of a loan of TWO THOUSAND POUNDS (£2000) for the purpose of reforming and metalling portions of the Okau Road and the purposes incidental thereto, and also the payment of the cost of raising the said loan and that such loan be secured by a Special Rate of five-eighths (g.) -of penny in the pound over the Okai; Special Rating District, AND THAT it is intended to confirm such resolution at a meeting of the Council to be held in the County Offices, West Quay, Waitara, at 11 a.m., on FRIDAY, the 7th day of November, 1930.
