ARRESTED ON HOUSE TOP
THREATENING DANCE ON ROOF. DANGEROUS WORK BY CONSTABLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, October 13; Brandishing pieces of wood and threatening to attack anyone who interfered with him, a man standing on the roof of a two-storey house in Pirie Street attracted considerable attention before he was captured by Constable o’BOyle. A large crowd gathered, and some concern was felt for the man’s safety. When he was first noticed the police were communicated with and the constable climbed the gutter spouting and intercepted the man in a dangerous position at the side of the house and.closed on him. When the man was handcuffed his legs were tied with rope, and he was lowered down the side of the house into the yard. ........
