CULL CALVES CAREFULLY. It is not possible to rear healthy calves from unhealthy parents; neither can heifer calves be cpected to become high-re-cording cows, if they are the progeny of mongrel bulls that have no butter-fat backing, and low-recording ■ cows. Cull the boarders and the unhealthy. Feed the selected calves on “Tui” calfmeal for best results. (8)
