ANALYSIS OF CANDIDATES. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Rec’. 11.50 p.rnt Sydney, Oct. 2. Nominations for the New South Wales general elections on October 25 closed to-day. There are 176 candidates for the 90 electorates. Only one candidate is unopposed. The National Party is contesting 42 seats in the metropolitan area and 23 in the Country. Labour io contesting 42 in the metropolitan area and 46 country seats, while the Country Party io contesting 20 exclusively rural, seats. The Communisms are putting forward 52 candidates, of which five are women. Australian Party nominees and Independents comprise the Lalance of the aspirants.
