TWEnA-SIXTH WEEK RESULT. Following is the official report of the Taranaki Egg-laying Society for the week ended September 31 (twenty-sixth week):—

Gillies, Timaru, who is seriously ill, was passed yesterday at the meeting of the Women’s, Division of the Farm? ers’ Union in Hawera. Mrs. Gillies was in South Taranaki for some time and did a great deal for the division. Her husband was the • Farmers’ Union organiser with headquarters at Hawera.
