NEW PLYMOUTH WRESTLING
WALTER LOGAN ARRIVES. The American wrestler, Walter Logan, who is to wrestle Kara Pasha (“the Terrible Turk”) in the New Plymouth Opera House on Thursday, October 9, arrived last night by the mail train. The ffiewly-formed New Plymouth Wrestling Association has arranged for Logan, who commences his training on Saturday, to give an exhibition of wrestling holds at the fancy-dress skating carnival on Saturday evening. Amateur wrestlers will be invited to meet Logan, who will be willing to instruct them in the finer points of the game. He will be doing road training in the morning and will seek the company of any amateurs in training.
