DELIVERY OF CATTLE
DELAY OF SEVEN YEARS. BRISBANE DEALER’S PURCHASE. London, Stpt. 16. A Brisbane cattle dealer, Mr. J. Sinn.tmon, went to England in 1923 and bought six heifers, but, owing to foot a. ■’ mouth disease they were not allowed to leave Jersey. Mr. Sinnamoii went to Australia after depositing £2OOO with the Commonwealth Bank in London to pay for the cattle when they were shipped. He was cn route to England last month, when lie passed his purchases going out to Australia. They were not the original beasts, which later had been sent to America, but the vendors provided descendants of them.
‘T am glad I have got them at last. They have cost me £3OO in travelling expenses, and I have not seen them yet,” said Mr. Sinnamon.
