OLDEST MAN STRUCK BY CAR
ZARA AGHA INJURED IN NEW YORK LECTURE TOUR INTERRUPTED. 1 , By Telegraph—Press Assn.-—-Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. New York, Sept. 25. Zara Agha, the Turk whoso claim, to be 163 years old has made him worldfamous and who came to the United States in July to lecture and give exhibitions, was knocked down by an automobile while he was crossing Broadway at 61st Street in the “White Way” district to-night. Ho was seriously injured. The .motor-ear responsible for the accident sped away.
Zara was reported to have been kil.ed in a similar accident some time, before he left Europe. He is accompanied on tliis tour by his wife, tho eleventh, whom, he married in 1927.
