The immensity of the floods in the Sind district of the Bombay 'Presidency is revealed by the District Commissioner, who says the total area inundated is over 550,000 acres. Over 900 villages and hamlets are destroyed and 40,000 i people are, homeless. | The damage is estimated at £1,500,000. The floods are only now after six weeks.
