REPLACEMENT OF OLD SHIPS
QUESTION OF ECONOMIC BEARING. (British Official 'Wireless.) Rec. 5.5 p.m. *** Rugby, Sept. 25. The President of the Board of Trade has appointed a committee to consider the economic features involved in the disposal of old ships and their replacement by new, and to report whether in the national interests this process should be encouraged.
